Dept. of Noi Naadal, National Institute of Siddha organized a five days Naadi Workshop & Hands on training from 05.12.22 to 09.12.22 in Multipurpose Hall of New OPD block at NIS campus. All the 2nd year PG scholars and Regular Ph.D. scholars from NIS have participated in this programme.<\/p>\n
Inauguration ceremony was held on 05.12.2022 at 11.15 am. Prof. Dr. G. J. Christian, HOD of Noi Naadal welcomed the gathering. Prof. Dr. R. Meenakumari, Director NIS & DG CCRS (Addl. charge) has presided over the function and gave inaugural address. Prof. Dr. S. K. Sasi HoD, Dept. of Noi naadal, GSMC, Chennai has participated as Chief Guest and gave felicitation and Dr. S. Elansekaran, Associate professor and Dept. of Noi Naadal delivered vote of thanks.<\/p>\n
Five days of this workshop planned with eminent personalities as resource persons those are all experts in Naadi examination and clinical implementations.<\/p>\n

Sreeraj<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Medical Officer-Siddha Topics: Naadi and the concept of 13 divisions in the body and its relation to diagnosis through Naadi<\/p>\n Day 2 (06.12.2022)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Morning session<\/em><\/strong> Topics: Basics of Naadi, Diurnal variation, Basic techniques in interpretation and brief introduction to Dhasa Naadi.<\/p>\n Afternoon session<\/em><\/strong> Topics: Dhasa Naadi and its pathway especially Idakali, Pingalai and Suzhumunai, Naadi Pathway, its creation, formation and function.<\/p>\n Day 3 (07.12.2022)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Morning session<\/strong><\/em> Topics: Siddha Embryology – Formation of Naadi, Role of five elements, Seven physical constituents in embryology. Interpretation of Naadi in pregnant women<\/p>\n Afternoon session<\/strong><\/em> Topics: Identification of Dhegi by means of Naadi, Hands on training on implementation of Dhegi by means of Naadi. Dhegi interpretation and its practical usage in day to day clinical practice<\/p>\n Day 4 (08.12.2022)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Morning session<\/strong><\/em> Topics: Basic techniques in Naadi interpretation, Dos and Don\u2019ts while practicing Naadi with its clinical application<\/p>\n Afternoon session<\/strong><\/em> Topics: Thirteen quadrants in Naadi interpretation and its practical applicability with hands on training<\/p>\n Day 5 (09.12.2022)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Morning session<\/strong><\/em> Topics: Naadi interpretation to diagnose common disease conditions like, diabetes, cardiac diseases etc<\/p>\n Afternoon session<\/strong><\/em> Topics: Hands on training with Patients admitted in wards to get diagnosed by implementing Naadi.<\/p>\n Valedictory Ceremony was held on 09.12.2022 at 4.30 pm, Dr. S. Elansekaran, Associate Professor, Dept. of Noi Naadal welcomed the gathering. Prof. Dr. R. Meenakumari, Director NIS & DG CCRS (Addl. charge) presided over the function and issued certificates to all the participants. Invited resource persons were honoured along with certificates.
