After concluding the meeting, an awareness talk was given by Mr. K.S. Hariprasad, Patent agent, CEO IP DOME on &#8220;Scope of IPR in traditional medicine research&#8221; between 3.30 pm and 5.00 pm<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Prof. Dr. R. Meenakumari, Director, National Institute of Siddha &nbsp;presided over the function. Dr. A. Muthuvel welcomed the gathering. The Director NIS announced the implementation of IPR policy in NIS in her presidential address<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"x11i5rnm xat24cr x1mh8g0r x1vvkbs xtlvy1s x126k92a\">\n<div dir=\"auto\">The Director also announced &#8220;HACKATHON competition&#8221; for Siddha research scholars from various institutes\/colleges. The objective of this competition is to invite patentable research proposals.
