Christian, Dean \u2013 Research, welcomed the Participants, Resource persons and set the tone for the programme.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Dr. M. Muniyandi, Scientist-E and Regional HTA Coordinator, delivered a detailed presentation on the scope and significance of HTA in India, covering key concepts such as&#8212; Cost-effectiveness, Cost-utility, Cost-benefit and Budget impact analysis<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">Dr. Karikalan, Scientist -D, ICMR-NIRT, highlighted the collaborative HTA activities with NIS and discussed opportunities for integrating traditional systems like Siddha into evidence-based health decision-making.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">A discussion session was held to explore the scopes and opportunities for applying HTA in efficient healthcare resource allocation in Tamil Nadu.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\">The event concluded with a vote of thanks and way forward note by Prof. Dr. P.
