** Activities of National Institute of Siddha related to COVID-19 ** 👈
NIS has inaugurated a Post COVID Care Unit through Siddha Medicine at Ayothidoss Pandithar Hospital, NIS on 03-12-2020 to address the health care issues of the patients suffering from Post COVID-19 manifestations.
Siddha system of Medicine has been playing an important role in the prevention and management of COVID-19 pandemic. National Institute of Siddha has been actively participating in the global race to prevent and manage the deadly Corona Virus pandemic outbreak.
In continuation of its COVID Care Services and as per the guidance of the Ministry of AYUSH, NIS has opened a Post COVID Care Unit through Siddha medicine for treating the patients suffering from Post COVID manifestations like Cough, Fatigue, Sense of short breath, Stomach upset, Joint pain, Loss of smell, Chest pain, head ache etc.
This OPD will function from 8 am to 12 noon everyday.
