As a part of the Post-5th Siddha Day Celebrations, National Institute of Siddha organized a free Siddha Medical Camp and Distributed medicinal plant saplings to the public at Government Arts College Dharmapuri on March 26, 2022,
Smt. S. Diyadharshini, District Collector and Magistrate of Dharmapuri district inaugurated the camp by lighting the Holy Lamp and distributed the medicinal plants saplings and immunity kits to the public with chief guest address.
Prof. Dr. R. Meenakumari, Director of the National Institute of Siddha, delivered the Presidential address, emphasizing the importance of Siddha medicine and the role of NIS during the COVID-19 pandemic. She expressed her gratitude to the Dharmapuri district administration for their assistance in organizing this camp in grand manner.
Prof. Dr. K. Amudhavalli, Dean of Dharmapuri Government Medical College, has previously delivered a special invitee talk. The felicitation addresses were delivered by Dr. V. Krishnamoorthy, District Siddha medical officer & Drug inspector (I/M)D harmapuri & Krishanagiri and Dr. P. K. Killivalavan, Principal, Government Arts college, Dharmapuri.
