National Institute of Siddha (NIS), Chennai actively participated in the Yoga Mahotsav 2025, a 25-day countdown event to the International Day of Yoga 2025, held at Gandhi Thidal, Promenade Beach, Puducherry!
Event Highlights
The event was Inaugurated by Shri Prataprao Jadhav, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India, Graced by Chief Minister of Puducherry, Shri N. Rangasamy and Lieutenant Governor Shri K. Kailashnathan, Ms. Monalisa Dash, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Ayush welcomed the dignitaries and participants of this grand event.

Live Demonstration of Common Yoga Protocol (CYP)
Our participants, along with over 5,000 others, featured a live demonstration of the CYP, highlighting yoga’s vital role in enhancing holistic health. This event reflected our dedication to the IDY 2025 theme: ‘Yoga for One Earth, One Health’.
Yoga Sangam Portal
The event also highlighted the significant rise in registrations on the Yoga Sangam Portal, launched during the 50-day countdown event in Nashik, with over 12,000 registrations to date.
