The National Institute of Siddha proudly launched its weekly seminar series, “Visionary Voices,” with a captivating talk by Dr. Vijaya Manikandan, BSMS, MHSM (Australia), on “Herbal Roots to Global Routes: Strategies for Sustainability.”
The seminar was held on 24th January 2025 in the multipurpose hall situated in NIS campus inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Senthilvel, Director (i/c), National Institute of Siddha. This programme brought together over 300 participants including UG, PG, PhD scholars, faculty members and online participants from Maria Siddha Medical College, Thiruvattaru, Kanniyakumari district.
Dr. Vijaya Manikandan’s presentation highlighted the importance of sustainability in Siddha practices, emphasizing global networking, skill development and collaboration to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for 2030.
