Prof. Dr. R. Meenakumari, Director NIS visited to IIT Madras and met with Prof. Dr. V. Kamakoti, Director, IIT-M and congratulate him for his new assignment as Director IIT-M. Its also held brief conversation about collaboration of both institutes towards the research and academic activities.
Director NIS discussed about the contribution of NIS towards research and development during the COVID19 pandemic. The Director of IIT-M expressed his desire to conduct Siddha research as well as publicize the Siddha system and get global scientific acceptance.
This meeting was attended by a team of research and academic heads from both institutes, who expressed their perspectives and essential areas to be included in the next memorandum of agreement between the two institutions.
