Prof. Dr. R. Meenakumari, Director, NIS Hoisted the Indian National flag on the occasion of celebrating 76th Independence Day (15th August 2022). It was on this day in 1947 that India won freedom from British rule after a long struggle. At the same time, it is also a day to pledge our love for the country to save our people from diseases.
The Director expressed her joy about the opening of the new OPD block of NIS and its accessibility to the public on 13th August 2022. The Director acknowledged all of the prior directors who are all worked for the betterment of this Institute.
She also extended her gratitude to everyone who participated in the inaugural ceremony in a timely manner. The campaign for Har Ghar Tiranga was discussed by the Director.
