As per the guidance and instruction from Prof. Dr.R.Meenakumari, Director, National Institute of Siddha , the department of Gunapadam conducted Siddha Awareness program and Siddha Medical Consultation Camp in connection with an International Conference Organized by Department of Computer Science and Engineering @ Sathyabama University, Chennai on 07.03.24 & 08.03.24..
In this event, the Faculties , UG, students of various discipline, Research Scholars and foreign visitors visited our expo and they interacted with our team and got more benefits through the displays, consultations. The expo raised awareness about herbal drugs , Siddha fundamentals, treatment procedures,etc. More than 650 people visited and many of them have utilized the Siddha consultation.
The entire event was organized and coordinated by Dr. S. Sivakkumar, Associate Professor, Department of Gunapadam under the leadership of Prof Dr.G.Senthilvel, Head of the Department and PG scholars of Gunapadam department Dr.S.Kesavarajan, Dr.P.Muthukalyani, Dr.D.Rujitha, Dr.R.Suresh and Mr. Karthik, JRF were participated and contributed well.
Prof. Dr Sasi Praba, Vice Chancellor and Prof. Dr. Y. Swarnalatha from Sathyabama University provided all supports from their end.
