National Institute of Siddha celebrated the ‘White Coat Ceremony’ event for the III batch of UG BSMS students of the academic year 2024-25. The event was held on 28 February 2025 at Yoga Hall at this Institute campus
Ms. Monalisa Dash, IFoS, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India has graced the occasion as Chief Guest and delivered an inspirational speech, urging students to dedicate themselves to serving the nation and wishing them for a bright future in Siddha.
Prof. Dr. G. Senthilvel, Director (i/c), welcomed the students and congratulated them on choosing Siddha as their career path. He has highlighted the significance of students from other states like Haryana, Telangana, and Jharkhand joining the BSMS-Siddha UG program, which will help to promote Siddha medicine across India.
Distinguished guests including Dr. Muralidass, Research Officer, Ministry of Ayush, and Dr. Sudha, SFC Member of NIS, along with officials from the Ministry of Ayush, faculties, and administrative officers of NIS, attended the ceremony.
