The Department of Udal Thathuvam, National Institute of Siddha, Chennai, successfully organized a one-day Workshop on “Applied Neurophysiology: From Reflex to Response” on 26.05.2026 at NIS for Siddha PG & PhD Scholars.

The Director, National Institute of Siddha Prof. Dr. G. Senthilvel delivered the felicitation address in the valedictory function and distributed the certificate to the participants. He emphasised that this kind of workshop will equip the PG and Ph.D. scholars of NIS to undertake research on Neurophysiology of Siddhar Varmam and Yogam.

The workshop aimed to bridge modern Neurophysiology with Siddha concepts including Vatham, Naadi, Varmam, and Yogam, creating a valuable platform for translational research and clinical applications in neurological disorders.
