The National Institute of Siddha (NIS) successfully organized a Free Siddha Medical Camp on 12th July 2026 (Sunday) at SNV Matric Higher Secondary School, Arakkonam, in association with Join Hand Social Welfare Trust and SNV Matric Higher Secondary School, Arakkonam.
The camp was organized primarily for Visually Impaired Sportspersons, while also serving the General public, with the objective of promoting Siddha healthcare and ensuring accessible, affordable, and quality medical services for all sections of the community.
The programme was conducted under the guidance of Prof. Dr. G. Senthilvel, Director, National Institute of Siddha, whose continuous encouragement and support greatly contributed to the successful implementation of this community outreach initiative.
Camp Highlights
- 120 beneficiaries received free Siddha medical consultation and medicines.
- Varmam therapy was provided to patients based on clinical indications.
- Personalized dietary advice and lifestyle
- Counselling were offered to promote long-term health and disease prevention.
- Patients with a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses received comprehensive Siddha treatment.
