DIRECTOR’S MESSAGE
Due to the onslaught of Covid-19 pandemic, our Country is facing a very critical challenge in health sector. Though the Central and State Governments are taking all-out efforts to stop the pandemic on its tracks, it is a very big challenge to our nation to protect the life of each and every individual.
The Central and State Governments are working round-the-clock to fight this daunting challenge. Their efforts will be successful only if the people understand their responsibilities and co-operate with the Government.
I fervently appeal to the people to follow the guidelines issued by the Government in combating this menace and observe the 21 days’ lockdown announced by the Government. Then only we will be successful in protecting our country from Covid-19 pandemic.
The following tips are offered for combating the pandemic:
- This is the time to follow our traditional practices to protect ourselves from diseases and to improve our personal and social hygiene.
- Healthy food habits and simple Yoga & breathing exercises will improve our immunity. National Institute of Siddha will be glad to render any guidance or assistance to our people in this regard.
- Please follow the guidelines issued by the Govt. of Tamil Nadu and Govt. of India.
- Maintain social distancing and proper hygiene.
