As per the guidance of Ministry of Ayush Prof. Dr. R. Meenakumari, the Director of NIS, has spearheaded the launch of a series of events for Poshan Pakkavada 2024. With Prof. Meenakshisundaram Head of the Dept. of Kuzhanthai Maruthuvam has initiated the Poshan Pakkavada event and it was hosted at the Anganvadi, Health and Wellness Centre in Chitlapakkam today on 21/03/2024.
Dr. A. M. Amala Hazel, Dr. P. Arul Mozhi, Associate professors and PG scholars from the Department of Kuzhanthai Maruthuvam led an enlightening Awareness campaign and healthy snacks distribution initiative, targeting children under 6 years.
The event also featured informative talks by our faculties and PG scholars on healthy eating and lifestyle habits, aimed at parents. It’s a fantastic way to learn, share, and promote wellness in our community!
