On, February 6, 2025, the National Institute of Siddha community came together to take the Ni-kshay Shapath, pledging our commitment to a TB-free future!
As a part of the nationwide 100-day campaign for TB elimination, the UG, PG, PhD scholars, staff, and faculty gathered at Agathiyar Arangam to take the pledge.
Prof. Dr. G. Senthilvel, Director I/c, Prof. Dr. M. Meenakshi Sundaram, Dean (Academic) and Prof. Dr. G. J. Christian, Hospital Superintendent/Dean (Research) along with Mr. Raghupathy, DRTB Coordinator, led the pledge, encouraging us to register as Nikshay Mitras and support TB patients with nutritional care.
We were honored to have Dr. M. Shahbaz Ijaz, Intersectoral Engagement Expert, State Technical Support Unit – NTEP, as our chief guest, who delivered an inspirational address, motivating us to join the fight against TB.
Together, we can make a difference! Let’s join hands to create a TB-free India. Education, action, and care are our weapons against tuberculosis. Awareness, prevention, and treatment are key. Together, we will #EndTB!
