The HSSC Sub Council on AYUSH, under the aegis of Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC), successfully hosted the 8th Annual Meeting of the HSSC Sub Council and the Ayush Leaders Meet on Thursday, 21st May 2026, from 10:15 AM to 2:00 PM at Tamarind Hall, India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.
The meeting was held under the esteemed chairmanship of Vd. Jayant Deopujari Ji, Chairman, HSSC Sub Council on Ayush.
The event was graced by the presence of distinguished leaders from the Ayush industry, experts, policymakers, industry stakeholders, academic institutions, regulators, and Ministry officials, among other esteemed guests.
From National Institute of Siddha, Prof. Dr. G. Senthilvel, Director, Prof. Dr. M.V. Mahadevan, and Mr. Michael Joseph, Purchase Manager, participated in the meeting. They actively discussed skill development courses to be conducted in collaboration with Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC).

An MoU was signed between National Institute of Siddha and Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) in the presence of respected Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of Ayush. This partnership aims to strengthen skill-based education and training in the AYUSH sector.

During the meeting, various stakeholders from academic institutions and industries put forth many valuable suggestions for conducting skill courses by Healthcare Sector Skill Council (HSSC) to bridge the skill gap in the AYUSH workforce.
12:30 PM – 2:00 PM: AYUSH Leaders Meet
Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of Ayush, graced the occasion and discussed various agendas with industrial leaders related to growth and development perspectives of the AYUSH sector.
