A team of 25 numbers of interns from National Biodiversity Authority (NBA) visited the NIS Campus on 21-07-2022. During visitation the Interns are learned about the Hospital functionalities like Outpatient Department, Dispensary, Inpatient Wards, External therapy units including Varmam, Thokkanam and Clinical laboratories. They have been given sensitization regarding how herbals are used in Siddha medicine to treat ailments
After the Hospital visit, Prof. Dr. R. Meenakumari, Director NIS has interacted with them. A brief introduction on Siddha System of Medicine and about National Institute of Siddha were explained through power point presentation. All the visitors have actively participated in the session and clarified their doubts. The overall programme was coordinated by Dr. M. Mahadevan, Associate Professor, Department of Pura Maruthuvam and Dr. Gayatri. R, Assistant Professor, Department of Noi naadal and Dr. Pulikesi, Consultant, NBA.
