Har Ghar Tiranga’ (Tricolour at every home), is a campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to hoist the Indian National Flag in their homes from 13th to 15th August 2022 to mark the 75th year of India’s independence from British rule.
The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign was launched in the National Institute of Siddha by Shri. Pramod Kumar Pathak, Special Secretary, Ministry of Ayush on 10.08.2022, Wednesday. A dedicated Tiranga Selfie Stand for taking ‘Selfie with the Tiranga’ was inaugurated by the Special Secretary in the NIS Campus on 10.08.2022. He has also launched the free distribution of the National Flag to the NIS Staff members and Public.
Prof. Dr. R. Meenakumari, Director NIS, Prof. Dr. K. Kanakavalli, Director General, CCRS and officials from these two Institutes attended the program. Everyone has been requested to display the National Flag at their homes from 13th to 15th August 2022 in order to respect the values of Unity and Integrity and to make the relationship with the national flag a more personal.
