Dept. of Kuzhandhai Maruthuvam, National Institute of Siddha organized a Six days CME Programme for AYUSH Teachers on the topic Pediatric Health – Holistic Approach from 03.01.2022 to 08.01.2022 in Yoga Hall of NIS.

Inauguration ceremony was held on 03.01.2022 at 10.00 am. Prof. Dr. M. Meenakshi Sundaram, HoD of Kuzhandhai Maruthuvam welcomed the gathering. Prof. R. Pattarayan, Former HoD of Kuzhandhai Maruthuvam, NIS has participated as Chief Guest. Prof. Dr. R. Meenakumar, Director NIS has preside over the function and gave inaugural address. Prof. Dr. R. Somasekar, Professor of Pediatrics, Sri Balaji Medical College and Hospital, Chennai and Prof. Dr. G.J. Christian, Hospital Superintendent i/c has given felicitation address. Dr. K. Suresh, Associate professor, Dept. of Kuzhandhai Maruthuvam has given Vote of thanks. 

Valedictory Ceremony was held on 08.01.2022 evening. Prof. Dr. D.K. Soundararajan, HoD, Dept. of Kuzhandhai maruthuvam participated as Guest of honour and released the Teaching materials and issued certificates to all the participants in the presence of Prof. Dr. M. Meenakshi Sundaram, HoD, Dept. of Kuzhandhai Maruthuvam, NIS. Dr. A.M. Amala Hazel given the vote of thanks and the programme ends with National Anthem.

Thirty faculties from all the Siddha Medical Colleges of Tamil Nadu and Kerala State have participated in this programme.
