The National Institute of Siddha (NIS), Chennai entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with V S Clinical Research and Hospital Pvt. Ltd., TICEL Bio Park, Chennai, on 10 August 2018.
The MoU was signed by Prof. Dr. V. Banumathi, Director, National Institute of Siddha, and Dr. L. Lokaranjan, Chairman and Managing Director, V S Clinical Research and Hospital Pvt. Ltd., on behalf of the respective institutions.
The signed MoU was exchanged in the presence of the Heads of Departments, Deputy Director (Administration), Senior Research Officer and Deputy Medical Superintendent of NIS.
The scope of the MoU includes collaborative research work and preclinical qualitative and quantitative analysis of Siddha formulations for research activities of postgraduate students and faculty members of NIS.
The collaboration was intended to strengthen research support, analytical facilities and academic development in the field of Siddha medicine.
